The Full Story

Pshenandoah Farms

Pshenandoah Farms, established in 2022 by the Vaughn Family, sits on nearly 300 acres and backs up to well-groomed riding trails. While the barn is a continuous project, we are fully operational and ready to serve. Our farm features Arabians, Half-Arabians, and Quarter Horses, and we take great pride in our meticulous attention to detail. Our facilities include heated wash racks, comfortable stalls (12 by 12 stalls and 12 by 32 turnouts), a spacious outdoor arena, multiple accessible bathrooms, and much more.

History

Our farm name originated from our Arabian horse, Pshenandoah (Boss). He was purchased as a family horse and shown by Rachel Vaughn. He ignited the passion for showing. Although he wasn't initially meant for national competition, by the age of 20, he proved to be exceptional, earning two new national titles with Rachel. Our farm traveled to Oklahoma for the Arabian Youth Nationals, where he secured those titles. Following that, Rachel acquired two new project horses, which went on to win reserve and champion titles at the national level in 2024 under her training. From there, we created a training and lesson facility outside of Tipp City, Ohio, to share our knowledge and love for horses with the public.

Services

Our farm provides many opportunities for the public to come enjoy the horses with us. We provide riding lessons, horse camps, grooming sessions, open farms, discovery events, and the lucky listener program. More information can be found throughout the website. Feel free to reach out to Rachel at our email or phone number with any questions.
